Text Box: FISHING WATERS

We have a wide range of fishing waters spanning The Towy, The Gwili, The Cothi, The Taf and The Gwendraeth Rivers. More information and photos will be added soon.

In the meantime, check our forums for the latest River Information and Catch Reports.
Text Box: RARE FISH SPECIES

Although most famous for its Salmon and Sewin fishing, the Towy is home to some rare fish species, notably the Allis and Twait shads, which are small members of the herring family.

As a result, The Towy has been proposed as a Special Area of Conservation (SAC). The shad spawn in only a few rivers in the UK (including the Wye, Usk and Teifi) but are becoming increasingly rare due to fishing, pollution and their inability to negotiate weirs.

If caught, all Shad must be released.
